~About 1 in 8 women in the United States (12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
~In 2010, an estimated 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 54,010 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.
~About 1,970 new cases of invasive breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in men in 2010. Less than 1% of all new breast cancer cases occur in men.
~For women in the U.S., breast cancer death rates are higher than those for any other cancer, besides lung cancer.
~In 2010, there were more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S.
~The most significant risk factors for breast cancer are gender (being a woman) and age (growing older).
I believe we all know someone who has suffered, is suffering or will suffer with breast cancer. I will donate 10% of the proceeds from this jewelry to breast cancer awareness and support programs.

What do you wish for?? This charm is a The Silver Dragonfly exclusive design and features a dandelion with the words "Make A Wish". When you blow the seeds from the dandelion your wish is supposed to come true. Before you place this pendant around your neck, close your eyes, blow the seeds and state your wish.Back of charm can be engraved with your wish if you like, just put it in the special instructions during check-out.
Each charm is handcrafted one piece at a time.
